Dr. Kaifeng Yin

Dr. Kaifeng Yin is recognized as both a board-certified orthodontist and a high-achievement scientist. Dr. Yin attended the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California for his dental training and advanced orthodontic residency training. He was accorded the Harry Dougherty Sr. Clinical Excellence award upon graduating from his residency. Dr. Yin pursued his Ph.D. at the Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology at the University of Southern California. His research interest was genome-wide regulation of tooth development and pathogenesis of inherited dental diseases, which was funded by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR). Dr. Yin has published extensively and served as a peer reviewer for several academic journals in dentistry and science in general. He is also serving as a part-time faculty member at the Department of Orthodontics University of Southern California. Dr. Yin holds active memberships in American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), American Board of Orthodontics, American Association of Dental Oral and Craniofacial Research (AADOCR), Angle society of southern California chapter, Phi Kappa Phi academic honor society.
